Our swimwear fabric is sustainable techno-fabric that is 100% recycled and created by an amazing company called Aquafil. The yarn is made from post-consumer material such as ocean plastic, abandoned fishing nets and waste fabric. All such materials, once they have reached the end of their life, instead of being disposed of in the landfill, are recovered and regenerated. These materials are collected by an organisation called Healthy Seas. Volunteers partner with Healthy Seas to recover ghost nets from reefs and shipwrecks, hotspots for marine biodiversity. They also collaborate with fishers, fish farms, local communities and other stakeholders to prevent waste nets from ending up in the sea.

Thanks to a sophisticated and complex process, the mentioned materials are turned into ECONYL, a new polyamide yarn which has the same features as virgin nylon in terms of performance and quality, but with the plus of not having been produced with the use of non-renewable fossil raw materials. This process is called the ECONYL Regeneration System!

Our swimwear looks and feels like quality and high performance fabric. Not to mention they are resistant to chlorine, suntan creams and oils!
